Roger Williams Park and the Roger Williams Park Zoo are among Rhode Island’s most treasured community assets and have benefited from millions of dollars in funding from The Champlin Foundation over the years.
This support has ensured that iconic structures within Roger Williams Park, such as the Bandstand, the Temple to Music and the Casino, and the Museum of Natural History will be maintained for generations to come.
Longstanding support of the Roger Williams Park Zoo has enabled guests to be engaged in an extraordinary and unique educational experience that has improved their understanding of and appreciation for the natural world. Recent Champlin grants have provided support for the construction of new attractions at the zoo including Hasbro’s Our Big Back Yard play area, the Alex and Ani Farmyard and a tree kangaroo exhibit.
