Organizations receiving grants will be expected to commence expenditure of funds as soon as practicable.
Therefore, organizations that are notified of forthcoming funding should not delay entering into any contract or purchase order while awaiting their check.
Annual reporting on the use of grant funds is due by December 31st of each year for the period the grant remains open.
Reporting requirements are mandated by policy of The Champlin Foundation in compliance with Internal Revenue Service regulations.
