With the grant award in 2017, the Peace Dale Library was able to purchase new furniture and shelving. This much-needed update has gone a very long way to help in the Library’s mission to create a welcoming space. It has created a more collaborative atmosphere and allowed us to configure a new space dedicated specifically to Young Adults, which we never had before. As a result, we have seen an increase in people of all ages using the Library for work, study or just a comfortable place to spend their time. Additionally, compared to last December statistics, Peace Dale’s Young Adult circulation has increased 64% and overall circulation has increased 40%!

We are incredibly proud of the services we provide to our community, and the support of The Champlin Foundation has been a tremendous asset to that end — thank you!
